I went to Sun Marche

On July 7th (Sat), I went to the "Taiyo no Marche", which is held once a month in Kachidoki, Tokyo. When I got off at Kachidoki Station on the Oedo Subway Line and went up to the ground, Typhoon No. 12, which was approaching and was in danger of being held, had left, and the strong sunlight was shining from the morning.   There were many white tents lined up in the park next to the station.A few food trucks selling smoothies, fresh juices, and handmade popsicles stopped near the entrance.Despite the hot sunshine, it was crowded with people who were cheerfully serving customers, young couples, and families. This Marche has a theme every month, and this time it's fruit.Come to think of it, there were a lot of delicious fruits such as apple mangoes from Miyako Island, melons and king rubies from Hokkaido, Amanatsu from Ehime, and peaches from Wakayama.   The venue was about 100 stores, but the fresh produce was plentiful.I was able to taste the raw corn that I just picked this morning.A woman passing by put a tomato in her mouth and stopped her foot saying, "Oh, it's delicious!"The fun of Marche is that there is no direct interaction with producers in supermarkets.    We also saw some vegetables grown using special farming methods such as organic farming, natural farming, and carbon cycle farming. When I asked the people involved in this event, they said, "This is a market that aims to be organic, so the quality is high. Also, while other markets are aimed at tourists, many of the local residents are repeat visitors to this market." is a big difference."   I heard that there is a permanent indoor marche space that follows the flow of the sun marche, a 3-minute walk from this sun marche.I tried to go there, but unfortunately it was closed.A canal was flowing right next to a quiet warehouse district. The occasional sea breeze felt good.
