I went to BIGSTEP Farmers & Artisan Market.

Tuesday, April 4th is a public holiday on Showa Day.It's the beginning of Golden Week.Unfortunately, it had been raining since morning. In the afternoon, when the rain stopped, I went to BIGSTEP in Shinsaibashi. The arcade street is quite crowded probably because of the rain.Midosuji became a pedestrian zone (from Nagahori-dori to Namba), and various events were held there. At BIGSTEP's Farmer's & Artisan Market, we are exhibiting the booth of the Japan Macrobiotic Association again this time.Mr. Yoshimi Nakazaki was in charge of the store. When Mr. Nakazaki was young, when he was away from home in Tokyo, he attended lectures by Mr. Hideo Omori, a dietary instructor and a master of dietetic medicine. I think it was Macrobian. After that experience, he is now moderately mild.   In the vegetable sales corner, there were red spinach, new onions, wasabi greens, salad mizuna, mustard greens, red and green sunny lettuce, etc. grown in Hyogo Prefecture without using pesticides. The rare Italian onions were sold out.The fashion building and the vegetable sales floor are mismatched and fun spaces.   A mural on a building near BIGSTEP.It must have been the work of illustrator Seitaro Kuroda.About 40 years ago, this area was called Oyafuko Dori, and there were many surf shops and shops selling clothes imported from the West Coast of the United States.
