6/9 Seminar "Hiketsu to strengthen your will" 3rd

Shinichiro Yamamura's lecture "The secret to strengthening your will... Four ways to rebuild yourself, which is fragile." How to3XNUMXth, “The trick to strengthening your willpower is to forgive failure” was held.

This time, we changed the table setting and started with a workshop style that surrounds the teacher.

Mr. Yamamura said, "I will do this.! Is there anything that does not go well??’ he asked the participants.

First, he talked about his own past failures. No matter how many times I hear it, I will laugh at the "devil's taiyaki incident".It would be nice to achieve thisbelieve that there is 3For years, I put up with sweets, but one day10It is an incident where I bought a fish taiyaki like stealing and ate it while hiding in a thicket (laughs). It was a sweet treat that he had only dreamed of, but he felt regret while eating it, and felt like he had done it.

From the participants, I have decided to go to bed early and get up early, but I stay up late even though I have nothing to do.I wake up in the morning, but I can't get out of my futon.

I love sweets, especially custard creams such as eclairs and cream puffs, and I just can't stop.My husband has a sweet tooth, so when he comes home after work, he can't help but get out of hand.

Even if something bad happens, I try not to take it negatively, but I end up thinking about it without realizing it.He tries to erase the pattern by saying positive words out loud, but it keeps coming back.etc.An example was given.

In one experiment conducted by psychologists and addiction researchers, many people felt guilty after drinking too much alcohol the night before and waking up feeling terrible. However, the more depressed people were, the more likely they were to drink too much that night as a reaction to their guilt.I call this the "whatever effect".

When you look back at your failures with compassion, you're more likely to admit that it was your fault than when you're harshly critical of yourself.

Forgiveness allows us to see the facts as they are without suffering. If you fail at the same thing over and over again and think that you can't help him because you can't do anything, you'll hate yourself more and more.

Excessive self-criticism is counterproductive.

Next time, the final episode of this series,7Month14Sunday (Sunday), it's "accumulating motivation".Please come and join us for a lecture by Mr. Shinichiro Yamamura, a dietician who has overcome many trials in life and is also a director of the Japan Macrobiotic Association. (Terry)
