?

A joint lecture was held on the 27th for those who were qualified to participate in the training course and the study group. The first part is Professor Yusuke Sakata, Faculty of Economics, Kindai University.Mr. Sakata,2006Of year1During the year, I was asked to write a series of articles titled “Environmental Issues” in “Musubi” magazine.

The theme of the lecture was “Science of Food and Ethical Ways of Life”, and the subtitle was “Thinking about safe eating habits, the global environment and how to enjoy life”.At the mere mention of ethics, I thought that it would sound serious and ethical, and somehow I would feel stiff shoulders, but I started by talking about the environment surrounding food.

?

Environmental pollution, organic produce, fair trade, genetically modified crops, food crisis, rural crisis,TPPAnd so on, I was featured on the challenges and problems I'm facing one after another.

?

In the second half of the lecture, ethical consumers are people who actively consume goods and services that consider a wide range of social issues and social responsibilities, such as the global environment and social contributions. It was explained that people actively make choices according to their own values, which includes the influence of the world as a criterion for making decisions.

?

I think that many of the participants tend to forget to see the world from a bird's-eye view because they are members who usually think deeply about food, cooking, and health. In such a situation, Professor Sakata's lectures made me feel like she was the one who opened the way for me.

It is the impression of the students.

“It was a very easy-to-understand lecture.(including me)Also, I was able to sympathize with the way of thinking about risk. The idea of leaving the freedom of choice to future generations overlaps with the pillar of seishoku, which places importance on thinking, and it was a very stimulating experience for him.”

“I agree with the term opportunity cost.!! I really sympathized. 60Let's change behavior even among those who have passed the age! For those who think I'm here.No matter how old I am, I want to learn new things and have the desire to continue studying.”

“I realized that it is very important to cherish the perspective of myself, society, and the future.”

“The contents of what Professor Sakata said were easy to understand, and I felt that my own thoughts were getting closer. I want to participate in activities that many citizens can do.”

?

The second part is Ms. Sumiko Nishimori, an instructor at Seishoku Cooking School. The theme is "My Macrobiotic".He said that a close view and a distant view are necessary for those who aim to become leaders.

No matter how many times I listen to Mr. Nishimori's story about improving his mother-in-law's illnesses such as diabetes, cerebral infarction, and myocardial infarction with brown rice, it is very powerful. My relationship with brown rice began when my teacher went shopping at a natural food store and found the product wrapped in a macrobiotic health information paper called “Kenko Dojo”.After a while, she visited Japan Macrobiotic Association from Kochi Prefecture to further deepen her macrobiotics. That fateful day1Years1Month11It seems that he remembers the day very clearly.

?

A few years ago, when the Japan Macrobiotic Association started developing a network class, the words that the teacher sent to “Musubi” left an impression on me.

?

It is the impression of the students.

“Honest and unwavering stories that came from real experiences were wonderful stories that kept my spine straight no matter how many times I listened to them. I learned a lot and gained courage.”

“The story of the experience of healing is, after all, I see.! That's all I thought.I wanted to live my life while cherishing the Eastern view of thought.”

“Your story touched my heart and soul. It made me want to cherish the wonderfulness of experiencing things, deepening them, being natural, and valuing things as they are.”

“Having an open mind and attitude, and valuing one’s own intuition, I was able to understand well from your talk. I was very happy that I was able to confirm this and also learn about the connection with physics.” 327 Mr. Nishimori 1.JPG (Terry)
