[Information on boosting immunity] To be able to answer with an awareness of why it is “organic” and what is “safe” (XNUMX)

[Immune power up information]
Recently, the new coronavirus has taken the world by storm.
In this corner, you can find information on how to build a body that can withstand corona,
We will introduce excerpts from past musubi magazines and books published by Seishoku Publishing.
The 6th article is a joint lecture record (upper and lower) by Atsuo Fujii, President of Anshin Agricultural Co., Ltd., serialized from "Musubi Magazine June 6" to "Musubi Magazine July 6" (6 in total) times).

The biggest concern is the best-before date/expiration date, then the price, and then the quantity

Another reference in creating the Food Labeling Law was a questionnaire survey asking, "What exactly do consumers look for in food labeling?"
What we found was that the label most viewed by general consumers was the “best before/expiration date,” followed by “price,” and then “capacity.”This is followed by "product country of origin (processing country)", "raw material labeling", "food additive labeling", "raw material country of origin", "whether genetically modified ingredients are used", etc.
“I can see how much consumers attach importance to price,” says Mr. Fujii.
Mr. Fujii also explained that the average consumer spends only nine minutes from entering a supermarket to completing their shopping. The average number of food items purchased in those nine minutes is XNUMX items.
If you want to choose XNUMX items in just XNUMX minutes, it may be unavoidable to only look at "expiration date", "price" and "capacity", but such consumers are actually There are many.
Of course, there are consumers who carefully read labels about food additives, genetically modified organisms, etc., and carefully examine products before deciding whether to purchase them.
At the same time, a questionnaire on "dissatisfaction with food labeling" was conducted, and there were comments such as "I don't know how long it will take to finish eating after opening" and "Insufficient allergen labeling". It was decided that I had to let it go.

Display that children can understand

The first item of the Food Labeling Law clearly states that "the consumer's food should be the first objective."
“It is quite important to ensure the safety of food when it is consumed, not when it is purchased.”
Mr. Fujii made such a preface and explained why it is time to "take" instead of "purchase" as follows.
“When it comes to buying food, people who can read kanji are the ones who do the shopping, but the people who will eat it are, for example, your children. Even if it is written, it may not be readable, so it indicates that it should be written in hiragana or displayed in an easy-to-understand manner, assuming that people will actually consume the food.”
The current food labeling is ``emphasizing the person who eats, not the person who buys''.
As part of this, for example, when using soy sauce as an ingredient, it used to be possible to label only "soy sauce", but according to the Food Labeling Act, when it contains allergens such as soybeans and wheat that may cause allergies, , "Soy sauce (including soybeans and wheat)" etc.

``There is no carcinogenic food'' There is no perfectly safe food

What exactly does it mean to be “food safe”?
Mr. Fujii, who is an organic farmer, says that people around him sometimes say, "Mr. Fujii's vegetables are safe, aren't they?"However, Mr. Fujii seems to always deny it, saying, "It's outrageous."
There are many things to consider when choosing a safe car.Not only does the brake work well, but in the event of an accident, airbags come out not only from the front but also from the side, and the car automatically stops when it senses danger.
In order to judge whether it is safe or not, you should actually compare various things and think about it. Why don't you give it a go?" asked Mr. Fujii, using car selection as an example.
Next, he pointed out, "Actually, there are individual differences when thinking about food safety."
A simple example is weight difference. The same amount of poison can be fatal to a child, even if it is fine for an adult.Allergies also vary considerably from person to person.
“The third important thing is to get into the habit of worrying about quantity over quality.”
If you hear "carcinogenic food", everyone wants to avoid it.In that case, we should eat ``food that is not carcinogenic,'' but Mr. Fujii firmly states, ``We have not yet found a single food that has been confirmed to be non-carcinogenic.''
“Any food may contain even a small amount of a carcinogenic substance.
Summarizing the above three points, there is no food that is “absolutely”, “for everyone”, or “good/bad”.
