Cherry blossom viewing in Yoshino

I went to see the cherry blossoms in Yoshino, Nara Prefecture, which is described as a mysterious world.I made a reservation for the Kintetsu Limited Express early, but it was almost full.

I got on from Abenobashi, the starting station. Most of the seats were vacant, but at Kashihara-jingu Station, many people boarded and filled up.Get off at Yoshino Jingu, one station before the last stop.Principal Okada, Ms. Kiyomi Noguchi, Ms. Hiroko Shimada, and all the participants who graduated from the normal course safely joined us.

Ride the reserved taxi to the summit.Looking around while driving, more than usual 10It bloomed as early as a day, and most of it was scattered, and there were cherry blossoms here and there. For the cherry blossom viewing this time, I was planning to go down from the top of the mountain and just watch the cherry blossoms in full bloom, but that's why I went down the mountain path while looking at the beautiful lime green fresh green and other flowers and chatting happily. . The weather was cloudy, but the temperature was just right, neither hot nor cold.the day before25It was a summer day of about ℃, so I think it was hot. Mr. Shimada seems to be interested in the wild grasses that grow along the roadside, and he sometimes tastes them and mutters, "It's delicious."

In the early afternoon, we arrived at Ominesan Gojiin and Sakuramotobo, where we were supposed to have lunch and rest. Yoshino12.JPG The dark pink double cherry blossoms were blooming beautifully in the garden. Yoshino13.JPG

Sakuramotobo is a temple built by Prince Oama, who became Emperor Tenmu during the Jinshin War.

Mrs. Hakushu Tatsumi, the chief priest's wife, who attends the Seishoku Cooking School, guided me to a spacious room.I saw a wonderful view of trees, including cherry blossoms.

Each one prepares and spreads the lunch box, and it's a fun time. Yoshino14.JPG As expected of a member who teaches and learns cooking, it looks delicious.Homemade cookies, cakes and steamed buns were handed out, and it was a luxurious lunchtime.

After eating, I visited the main hall.I listened to the sermon of Ryoji Tatsumi, the chief priest.

It's time to leave, and it's time to take a commemorative photo. The chief priest, Mr. Hakufune, and Mrs. Wakana, the eldest daughter, were also present.

After having a meal, I slowly descended again.I saw a souvenir shop.Furthermore, the walking speed became slow.

After a while, we arrived at Kinpusenji Zao-do, a national treasure. Yoshino18.JPG It was the period of the special opening of the hidden Buddha principal image. At this point, we met at Yoshino Station where we would catch the train on our way home, so we changed to free time. Each enjoyed their own time.

From Zaodo to Yoshino Station, the slope becomes steep, but there was a shortcut. The cherry blossoms were blooming beautifully at the bottom of the mountain. Yoshino19.JPG It must have been in the shade. There was a wonderful green tree-lined avenue.I thought it would be a good place to come during the autumn leaves season.

Everyone safely gathered at Yoshino Station. The cloudy sky had turned into a clear blue sky. It's fun to spend time together with the members who usually meet only in the classroom.

Even though it was only downhill, we walked quite a distance. The exhilarating feeling of moving the body was also a special trip.
