On the day of the new moon ~ Detox with the rhythm of the moon ~

New moon day in July! At Seishoku Cooking School, the first new moon event was held. Mr. Kenji Okabe, who presided over the "Musubi no Kai" in Kyushu and is famous for "Rhythm of the Moon", who is active all over the country, was in charge. In our classroom, it was also the first collaboration project called lecture & cooking.   On this day, a typhoon was approaching Kansai.Mr. Okabe said, "Everyone is very lucky to have a typhoon that can purify the earth" on the day of the new moon, which has a strong meaning of purification. Everyone listened intently to the full and new moon meanings, as well as suggestions on how to live in accordance with the rhythm of each month. In particular, the tension in the classroom reached its maximum when it was recommended that students not only purify their bodies on the new moon, but also write down at least XNUMX wishes and no more than XNUMX wishes and pray. "Praying" is not about entrusting your thoughts to others, relying on them, or leaning on them. .   After that, we moved to the cooking room for a cooking demonstration.I, Takako Miyamoto, from Seishoku Cooking School was in charge of the demonstration, and instructors Rika Asano and Mayuko Imai (currently taking an instructor training course) were in charge of the tasting for everyone to eat.The recipe for the dish was also a suggestion from Mr. Okabe's new book "Brown Rice Amazake Diet" (Parco Publishing). In the lecture, after listening to how to spend time in the rhythm of the moon, I actually proposed what kind of food to have on the new moon, and then everyone tasted it.It was a fulfilling day and the atmosphere was very peaceful. Mr. Okabe's software and witty talk continued with questions and answers after the tasting. All of the participants went home with bright smiles saying, "Today, let's just have this meal and have a little fast."    A new moon day to wash your mind and body. From now on, we are planning the "Rhythm of the Moon Series" project, so please look forward to it♪ Takako Miyamoto, Seishoku Kyokai
